JEE main is one of the most important exams for any engineering aspirant in India. JEE main paper 1 is for B. E/ B. Tech and JEE main paper 2 is for B. Arch/ B. planning courses. JEE main paper 1 has three sections- physics, chemistry and mathematics.
All candidates have to attempt all the three sections but they can opt for any one section as they wish while filling the application form.
JEE main paper 2 is divided into two parts –
part A and part B. Part A is compulsory for all candidates appearing for JEE main paper 2 and it consists of mathematics and aptitude test.
Part B is drawing test which is compulsory for architecture aspirants only. JEE main 2020 was conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) in January and September 2020 in computer-based mode only.

JEE Main reservation criteria are released on the official website of JoSAA. JEE Main reservation criteria for general category candidates is 50.5%, for OBC-NCL it is 27%, for SC it is 15%, for ST it is 7.5%.
JEE Main reservation criteria are applied to candidates who have qualified JEE Main and fulfil the eligibility criteria of JEE Advanced. JEE Main reservation criteria are applicable to candidates belonging to different categories such as SC, ST, OBC-NCL, and general category.

JEE Mains Application Form Registration Process is a process through which one can register themselves for JEE Mains. JEE Mains is an all India level examination conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). The candidates who are eligible and wish to pursue engineering from various NITs, IIITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), need to qualify JEE Mains.
