MBBS Admission Guidelines Bihar

Medical education in Bihar is highly sought after due to its excellent medical colleges, faculty, and well-equipped hospitals. MBBS admission in Bihar is made through the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB). The exam is conducted for admission to various medical courses such as MBBS and BDS. To apply for the BCECE, applicants must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as the compulsory subjects.

The BCECE exam consists of two stages: the first stage is the Preliminary Examination and the second stage is the Main Examination. The Preliminary Examination is of two hours duration and consists of multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The Main Examination is of three hours duration and consists of multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

The selection of the candidates for admission to MBBS or BDS courses is made based on their performance in the BCECE. The selection is done through a merit list that is prepared by the BCECEB. The candidates who secure the highest marks in the BCECE are placed on the merit list. The candidates who qualify for the BCECE can then apply for admission to the various medical colleges in Bihar.
