NEET Eligibility Criteria 2023

- He /she should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a government recognised educational institution.
- The applicant should have completed 17 years of age as on December 31, 2022.As per MCI, there is no upper age limit set for applicants appearing for The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2022.
- The general category applicants need to secure a minimum of 50% in 10+2 exam.
- PWD (Persons with disabilities) need to secure a minimum of 45% aggregate in the qualifying examination.
- Candidate belonging to SC/ST and other reserved class need to secure a minimum of 40% aggregate in 10+2 or equivalent examination.

Step 1: Visit ntaneet.nic.in online for the registration. Ensure you have your valid email address and contact number required for the registration. Fill correct details to avoid correction at a later stage.
Step 2: After you complete the process for registration, you will receive the login credentials including login ID and password. Post login, an applicant need to enter the necessary details including academic and personal. Choose the examination centre at this stage only.
Step 3: Further, the applicant should upload the clearly scanned documents like photo, 10th certificate, signature, and image of thumb impression. The submitted documents should be according to the specified dimensions in the NTA guidelines.
Step 4: The last step is the NEET 2022 application fees payment. The application fees for the General category applicants are INR 1500, General/EWS category – INR 1400, and for SC/ST/PWD category applicants, the fee is INR 800.The fees need to be paid using the allowed payment modes.
